The life behind every egg
40 named hens. Two hectares where they can live like hens.
Throughout the day, our hens roam freely around the farm and graze among the fruit trees. At night, they return to a protected coop where they sleep safely.
They eat a mix of grains and cereals, but spend much of the day finding their own food: pasture, fruit, peelings and fresh vegetables, insects and earthworms. They walk, peck, scratch the soil, dust-bathe and rest in the shade. We use no preventive antibiotics.

A difference you can see
Our eggs compared with conventional eggs.
We are not comparing one label with another. We are comparing the hens’ everyday lives and the way their eggs are actually produced.
Available space
40 hens share 2 hectares, equivalent to 500 m² of land per hen.
Typically 7 to 10 hens per m² inside the production building.
Where they live
Outdoors throughout the day and protected in their coop at night.
In cages or on the floor, inside a production building.
Natural behaviour
They can walk, run, peck, scratch, forage, dust-bathe and rest in the shade.
Confinement limits or prevents many of these natural behaviours.
Ground and surroundings
Soil, pasture, insects, fruit trees and natural shade.
Concrete flooring, generally covered with litter inside the building.
Feed
Grains and cereals, mainly complemented by pasture, fruit, peelings, vegetables, insects and earthworms.
Standardized feed. Some Paraguayan formulas contain grains, meat and bone meal, animal fat, soy and potentially GMO corn.
Preventive antibiotics
We use no preventive antibiotics.
Their use depends on each farm’s health protocol.
