From our land
Pineapple that grows, flowers and ripens without shortcuts.
Zero crop protection chemicals
We apply no herbicides, insecticides or fungicides at any point in the crop.
Naturally fed soil
We use compost and manure, with no chemical fertilizer, and remove weeds by hand.
No forced flowering
No product synchronizes the plants: each pineapple flowers and ripens through its natural cycle.
How we produce it
300 plants observed one by one.
The crop is worked by hand from weeding through harvest. We wait for each fruit to develop its colour, aroma and flavour on the plant, so our sizes are naturally different.

The life behind every pineapple
300 plants. No chemical shortcuts. Every fruit at its own pace.
Our pineapple plot is tended plant by plant. We apply no herbicides, insecticides, fungicides or chemical fertilizers: the soil is fed with compost and manure, and weeds are removed by hand.
We do not induce flowering to make every plant produce at the same time. Each pineapple follows its natural cycle and is harvested by hand when its colour, aroma and flavour tell us it is ready. This is why we offer several sizes: we are a small farm, and nature does not manufacture identical fruit.
plants
Each one tended on our farm in Paraguarí.
crop protection chemicals
No herbicides, insecticides or fungicides.
weeding and harvest
The work is done manually, one plant at a time.
natural sizes
We sell what the land produces, not one industrial size.
The difference begins in the field
Our pineapple compared with conventional pineapple.
We compare our concrete practices with methods used to standardize and schedule intensive pineapple production.
Crop protection
No crop protection chemicals.
Programs may include herbicides, insecticides and fungicides to control fields and losses.
Soil fertility
Compost and manure, with no chemical fertilizer.
Scheduled mineral fertilization to support uniform growth and yields.
Weed control
Weeds are removed manually around each plant.
Chemical and mechanized control to cover large areas quickly.
Flowering
Entirely natural flowering, with no inducing product.
Ethylene or ethephon may be used to synchronize flowering and schedule harvest.
Harvest timing
Chosen plant by plant according to colour, aroma and flavour; harvested by hand.
Scheduled and standardized harvest designed for grading, transport and storage.
Ripening
Plant-ripened and harvested ready to eat. No ripening gas.
Ethylene can accelerate loss of green colour, but it cannot make an early-picked pineapple sweeter.
Sizes
Several natural sizes because each plant produces a different fruit.
Fruit selected and standardized to commercial size requirements.
After harvest
No wax, preservatives or postharvest treatments.
Long supply chains may use refrigeration, controlled atmospheres, wax and fungicide treatments.
